The Russian-British Laboratory of Behavioral Genetics was established in 2011 by an agreement between Goldsmiths College, University of London (London, UK), and Psychological Institute of Russian Academy of Education (Moscow, Russia). The Laboratory is formed on the basis of InLab – International Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Innovative Investigations into Individual Differences in Learning (Department of Psychology, Goldsmiths, University of London, SE 14 6NW, UK) and the Laboratory of Developmental Behavioural Genetics at Psychological Institute, Russian Academy of Education (Mokhovaya str., 9-4, Moscow, Russia, 125009).
The aim of Russian-British Laboratory of Behavioural Genetics is conducting systematic investigations into gene-environment factors involved in the individual differences in human psychological traits using scientific expertise and traditions of the Russian and British Laboratories. The main objectives are: integrating Russian psychology into the international psychological science; the use of protocols and assessment tools in accordance with the current scientific standards; the use of common scientific platforms and databases.
